How to Make and Use Potions in Dragon’s Dogma 2

Published Date :

If you keep foraging for fruits, herbs, and other craftable materials and let them stay in your inventory, your character will reach the encumbrance limit. Leveling up can increase Max En, but that becomes tough at one point. While trading and a few other options are available to lessen the burden, your first choice should always be experimenting with them. Various combinations allow you to make restorative potions in Dragon’s Dogma 2, which you can use to recover your health in time of need. With that said, follow the steps to craft and consume them.

Since the game allows you to experiment with different ingredients, make sure to collect a plethora of fruits, common herbs, and more, then use these steps to combine them:

  • Press the options button of your controller to get to the Pause Menu.
  • Next, choose the Items option from the left corner.
  • Select any material that can be used in a recipe, like Greenwarish, and you will see Combine options.
  • It will take you to the Experiment window. Here you will find all the ingredients available for combining and crafting new recipes.
  • If you selected Greenwarish before, now choose two pieces of any fruit; such as an Apple.
  • Set how many you want to create and Confirm.
  • By following the recipe we mentioned here, you will create Salubrious Draught.
  • Now you can go to the Use Recipe tab (Beside the Experiment) to craft the recipe anytime.

How to Use Potions in DD2?

  • Once you have crafted it, go back to the Items.
  • When you click on the potion, you will see Use options.
  • Press Use and consume it to recover your health and for other effects.
  • Similar to this, you can eat the fruits you foraged with the Use option.

If your potion is gray and you don’t see any option by selecting it, you need to lose some HP. Additionally, most health potions are recovery, so you cannot use them with maximum health. That is only possible with those which let you exceed the limit.

Once you have made and used the Potions in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you might be curious about the other things you can do in here. If you are, you should see our DD2 section to find topics like the How to hire Pawns and Vocations tier list.
