Starfield Mag Sniper Location: Where To Find Weapon

Published Date :

If you want to specialize in long-range combat in Starfield, a Mag Sniper rifle is an excellent choice. This deadly precision weapon allows you to eliminate enemies from a safe distance with high damage. However, Mag Sniper rifles can be rare, so you’ll need to know where to look. We’ll explain possible locations of Mag Sniper.

The Mag Sniper is considered one of the best sniper rifles in Starfield due to its high damage per shot. However, it cannot be easy to find early in the game as it is level-locked and usually only appears at higher levels.

Where To Find Mag Sniper In Starfield

Players have discovered a few ways to potentially obtain the Mag Sniper at lower levels before reaching the standard level requirement.

  • Complete The Vulture’s Roost Quest – This quest, available on Jaffa IV, tasks the player with infiltrating a pirate base. Successful completion has a chance to reward the Mag Sniper.
  • Check Weapon Stores in Neon – Specifically, you can try visiting Kore Kinetics in Neon. Taking the elevator up by the Astral Lounge, some players have reported the store stocking multiple Mag Snipers for sale.

Checking weapon vendors allows the Mag Sniper to appear out of level. Although it’s unlikely, you can also visit two vendors— Centurion Arsenal and Rowland Arms. They consistently carry a good inventory of advanced tools for exploration and combat, with the Mag Sniper sometimes among the items on offer.

While challenging, engaging enemies above your level carries a chance for you to drop high-level weapons like the Mag Sniper.
