The Luminous mutation in Grow a Garden not only looks eye-catching due to its glimmering effect, but it also has a valuable multiplier that will help increase your Sheckles income. Here’s everything you need to know about obtaining this mutation and the pet associated with it, called the Luminous Sprite.
How to Get Luminous Mutation in Grow a Garden
There are three ways to get Luminous – via a Luminous Sprite pet, the Mutation Spray Luminous and by using the Luminous Wand when the Fairy event begins.
How to Get the Luminous Sprite Pet and What does it do?
This is a pet that can be bought from Fairy Fares for 30,000 event currency. Once obtained, place it in your garden and it will randomly use its passive called, you guessed it, Illuminate. This will make it fly to a random fruit and apply the Luminous mutation to it. If it goes to a fruit that’s already stacked with high value mutations, you are ready for some serious income when you sell the harvest.
Visually, it has a blue color and is transparent, making it quite a standout addition to your garden. If you don’t have enough event currency yet, you can go for the other methods mentioned below.
How to Get the ‘Mutation Spray Luminous’ and ‘Luminous Wand’
The Mutation Spray Luminous can be bought from Lumina’s Shop in the Fairy World after you catch 600 Fairies.

Apart from this, the Luminous Wand (which empowers the next Fairy to use Luminous instead of Glimmering) can be crafted.
You require: 1x Fairy Jar, 1x Mutation Spray Glimmering, 1x Fairy Power Extender and 10,000,000, and it has a wait time of 15 minutes at the Fairy Crafting Table.
The Fairy Power Extender needs to be crafted with 1x Fairy Jar, 1x Fairy Caller and 2,500,000 and it has a wait time of 10 minutes. That’s not all – for this, you need to craft a Fairy Caller with 1x Fairy Jar, 1x Godly Sprinkler and 2,500,000. You can also skip the crafting process and directly buy the ingredients with Robux if you’d like.
These were all the ways to obtain the Luminous mutation in Grow a Garden. While it takes some time, it’s worth the effort if you’re a dedicated GaG player and interested in this high-value mutation in your garden.
