Running FIFA 23 as an Administrator – Not Launching or Crashing Issue
- Firstly, make sure that you are launching the game from an Admin account.
- If yes, then select the FIFA 23.exe icon and press the right-click button.
- You need to select the Run as an Administrator option.
- This allows you all the admin privileges and permissions that might be restricting you from playing FIFA 23.
Reinstall Anti-Cheat Program
This is a method that was suggested by several players in the community. Follow the below steps to reinstall the Anti-cheat program:
- Head over to the file directory of the Anti-cheat program. Its default file directory will be: Local Disk:\Program Files\EA\AC
- Now, launch the Anticheat program and select the Uninstall option.
- You need to run the Steam or Origin launcher to launch FIFA 23.
- As you launch FIFA 23, the Anti-cheat program will be reinstalled.
- Once you are all set, restart your PC and launch the game, again.
- Make sure to choose the Run as an Administrator option as you launch Steam or Origin launcher.
Disable Antivirus & Windows Firewall
While the Windows Firewall and Anti-virus programs keep you secure from malicious threats, they can interfere with the running game. So, we suggest disabling them temporarily. Now, launch FIFA 23 to check if any launching issues persist.
Update your Graphics Drivers
You can encounter launching issues if your installed graphics drivers are not updated. You need to make sure that your graphics drivers are installed to their latest version. For that, you can head over to the official websites of AMD and Nvidia to download the latest drivers. Once you have installed the updated drivers, launch FIFA 23 to check if the issues persist.
