Krampus Rod Fisch: Icicles, Festive Driftwood & More

Published Date :

The Krampus Rod in Fisch is an exclusive rod available during the Fischmas update of 2024. Unlike some other rods, this one has a great max kg stat, along with some nice stats for lure speed, luck, control, and resilience. Its passive provides a random temporary buff after every 10 catches.

Moreover, it looks great and has a decent price attached. Here’s how to get the Krampus Rod if you have access to the crafting station.

How to Get the Krampus Rod in Fisch

The Crafting Table can be accessed by opening up the vault to the Ancient Archives, and we’ve got a guide that walks you through the process. Once you make your way to the station, you are ready to craft a rod with the required materials.

The Krampus Rod requires x3 Icicles, x1 Magic Thread and x1 Festive Driftwood.

How to Get Icicle in Fisch

Icicle can be obtained by fishing in Winter Village and you have a better chance of catching it with the Holly Berry bait. It can also be obtained from Supreme Presents or Unique Presents which can be fished out in Winter Village (with the Magnet bait) as well.

How to Get Festive Driftwood

Festive Driftwood is the Festive-mutated version of Driftwood which makes it quite rare. One way to obtain it would be to catch Driftwood and appraise it to potentially get the Festive mutation. While the base item is of the trash variety and can be obtained from Moosewood’s pond or pier area by fishing or with a crab cage.

The other method is to head to Winter Village by interacting with the Snow Globe in your inventory and head to Santa’s Workshop. You’ll find a Candy Cane rod there which costs C$1,500 and has a passive where all fish have a 10% chance to be Festive.

So, go ahead and start fishing in the Winter Village area with the garbage bait, and you might obtain Festive Driftwood this way.

Lastly, Magic Thread can be obtained by randomly fishing anywhere on the map, and its catch rate is pretty good.

Just collecting the materials isn’t enough, because you need to level up to 150 and spend 30,000C$ to craft the Krampus Rod in Fisch and it will be yours!
