One of the most important parts when it comes to increasing your Cities Skylines 2 population is creating and maintaining zones. If they are built effectively, you will receive a certain boost in population. While residential properties will earn you some boost, you will also have to throw in a few commercial properties to even things out. Along with that, a few industrial zones will keep your city moving and the jobs will invite a boost in population.

You will also have to serve the citizens to keep them happy and any additional attraction could boost your population. Having said that, players will have to do as much as possible to keep the citizens happy and even if the population isn’t increasing, it’s ideal to not let it decrease. Apart from that, there is no set rule that will surely bring in growth to your city. So simply keep building and keeping the citizens happy and sooner or later, you will notice the growth.
