The Humiliation Badge in 99 Nights in the Forest is one of the game’s funniest yet trickiest secret achievements. Unlike most badges that celebrate survival or strength, this one rewards you for an embarrassing moment – dying from your own trap. If you want to unlock it intentionally, you’ll need to get a bear trap. Here’s how to make it and unlock the badge.

How to Obtain the Humiliation Badge in 99 Nights in the Forest
Upgrade Your Crafting Bench
The bear trap recipe becomes available once you’ve upgraded your Crafting Bench to Tier 2. You can do this by spending crafting resources and reaching the required level. Chop down trees to get 5 logs and get 1 scrap by exploring nearby. Upgrading the bench unlocks the Bear Trap recipe.
Gather Materials
To make one bear trap, collect 3 Scraps. Items like Bolt, Sheet Metal, UFO Junk, Broken fan, Metal Chair, Washing Machine, and more can be grinded to get Scrap.
Craft
Once you have the required items, interact with your Tier 2 Crafting Bench and select the Bear Trap from the crafting menu. After crafting, it will appear in your inventory as a placeable item.
Place the Trap
Place the bear trap on flat terrain. It can immobilize and damage enemies, but remember, it’s also dangerous to you. If you step on it yourself, it will trigger instantly and deal damage. Keep walking into it to take damage, and once you die to it, you will unlock the Humiliation Badge in 99 Nights in the Forest.

Make sure to do this in your base so that you are safer from other dangers and die solely due to the bear trap.
