Traits and Stats can be rerolled in Anime Vanguards so that your Units are super powerful against stronger enemies. While you can ascend and evolve units, rerolling is a crucial part of upgrading too.
Traits are modifiers that will increase your unit’s stats like Damage, SPA, and Range and if you’d like a chance of increasing them, you can reroll with the method shown below.
Stats are additional percentage buffs to a unit’s Damage, SPA, or Range and to get a stat boost, you need a particular item. Scroll till the end to know all about it.
How to Reroll Stats in Anime Vanguards
To reroll stats, visit the NPC called Cyan who will be present on the lobby map, right outside the PLAY entrance.
Talk to him and if you have a Stat Chip, you can reroll all three stats of your unit at a time. However, if you have a Super Stat Chip, you can reroll a specific stat, keeping the rest.
If you’re lucky, you will get a significant buff of DMG, SPA, RNG, or all! Stat Chips are common and easy to obtain, but Super Stat Chips are rare. Both of these items can be obtained from challenges and achievements so keep playing and getting better at the game to earn them.
Note that there’s a “Stat Potential” for Stat Rerolls that you can see on the Stat Reroll pop-up window. There’s a percentage shown and a number of Takedowns under it. Basically, you need to bring your Takedowns to the number on the right to get the maximum Stat Potential on his roll.

As shown in this example by LorTomo, if your stats are in the range of B and D tier, you only have a 38% chance to get A or higher on his stats, which is quite low.
To improve this, you can head back to the Stages > Planet Namak and scroll down to Infinite mode. Play the Infinite Stage multiple times and make sure that the character you want to upgrade is used in it. After this (even if you lose), check the stat potential and you should see an increase in the %. In this example, the stat potential changed to 100% and the tiers changed from B and D to all As.
How to Reroll Traits in Anime Vanguards
To reroll traits, talk to Mandra standing outside the Evolve area in the lobby. If you don’t have enough Trait Rerolls, then make sure to redeem the latest active codes (which will also grant thousands of gems), or get them from Battle passes, Quests, Challenges, etc. They can also be purchased with Robux.
