Digimon Survive is one of Bandai Namco’s latest RPG/Virtual Novels where players make all kinds of choices that will affect what happens in the game as well as with their Digimon. In this game, you will meet all kinds of characters and Digimon that you can befriend. Once befriended, these Digimon can fight for you as well. If you’re looking to recruit your own Digimon in Digimon Survive then this is the guide for you. Here is the best way for you to recruit in Digimon Survive.

How to Recruit Digimon in Digimon Survive

How to Recruit Digimon in Digimon Survive

To recruit a Digimon in Digimon Survive, you will have to first befriend them. To do this, you will have to fight, win, talk to your enemy Digimon and answer its questions as best as you can. Unlike Pokemon, defeating a Digimon in battle isn’t enough for it to become a recruit for you.

Recruiting is a tricky thing to do in this game. As a single bad answer can ruin all of the progress that you have made with the Digimon in question. Once angered, the Digimon is unlikely to be recruited. If you want to recruit it badly then you will have to restart the game from the last saved point to try again.

You can never predict when you’re going to need to restart your game. And so, we recommend saving the game before every battle. This will allow you to continue the game without losing much progress. If you don’t want to go through the wait time that it takes to save and then load the game, you can always retry your battle. Here are the steps needed to retry your battle:

  • Press your Esc or Start button (depending on the platform that you’re playing on)
  • You will now get the game menu
  • Now, scroll down till you get to the Retry option
  • Click on the Retry button to reset your battle

You can now redo your battle and try your luck at befriending/recruiting the Digimon again.
