Digimon Survive is a Visual-Novel, Tactical Survival RPG developed by Hyde & published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. This game is a Visual-Novel with an amazing story of a group of School students going on a Trip and then encountering Digimons & Ghosts. You, the Player, will be playing as Takuma and will be the main character of the Story. Along your journey, you will encounter various Digimon. Many of which are very strong and will prove to be helpful if they were on your side. As such, you should befriend them & then recruit them to increase your Arsenal. How to Befriend in Digimon Survive
In this game, you can, in essence, catch every Digimon by befriending them. To befriend a Digimon in Digimon Survive, you will have to talk to the enemy Digimon. As you talk to them, they will ask you 3 questions. Depending on how well you answer them, a Bar with 6 segments will either get filled or depleted. Here is what will happen:
- Great Answers will fill 2 segments of the bar.
- A Good Answer will fill the bar by 1 segment.
- A Bad Answer will deplete the bar by 1 segment.
- Worst Answers will deplete 2 segments of the bar.
Each Digimon has a different set of questions & answers. You can only know what the answer is by talking to every Digimon possible. If you can fill the Bar by half, you will get the prompt to either befriend the Digimon or ask it for Items. Befriending it will come with a chance. So keep trying to befriend a single type of Digimon to be able to catch it. One way of ensuring to get a perfect score is to save the game before you get into Combat. If the befriending fails then reload from the last save. This is an effective way of doing it.
