How to Get Evolution Items in Digimon Survive
You can get the Evolution Items in this game by looking for the hidden items in a chapter, through chests, or from battles. The digivolution item in the game that you are looking for is called Mature Enlightenment Slab.
There are two specific locations where you can get it:
- Inner Shrine:
- Open the World Map.
- In the Forest Area, choose Inner Shrine.
- Now, use your camera and align it at the center of the screen on the Shrine.
- Click on the Shrine button, when perfectly aligned you will get 1 Mature Enlightenment Slab.
- Defeating Fangmon:
- In chapter 2 you will come across many areas where you are attacked by Fangmon.
- Whenever you encounter it make sure to defeat it.
- Upon defeat, it can drop a Mature Enlightenment Slab. This isn’t a guaranteed drop but one you can use to farm this slab.
How to Use the Mature Enlightenment Slab
As per its description, you can use it to evolve a Free Monsters into a Champion. These Enlightenment slabs are only used for Digimon that you acquire from outside the story.
Another thing to remember about it is that this evolution of the Digimon is permanent. You cannot devolve a Free Monter. So once you digivolve it there is no going back, like you could with your partner Digimon for example Agumon. In order to use this slab:
- Pause the game to open the menu.
- Go to the Status tab.
- Look for the Digimon that you wish to evolve (digivolve).
- Select the Digimon and tab over to the Evolution tab.
- Based on the Digimon you should get several or single evolution options.
- Choose the Digivolution you want and confirm it.
- This will bring up a pop-up that asks you if you want to use it and warn you about the permanent evolution.
- Click on Yes and you can see your Free Monter use the item and transform.
