How to Reach the Yellow Materia in the Church
In Chapter 8, you will be trying to run away from Shinra guards and Reno in the church. While you are trying to escape the decrepit church (also filled with ghostly beings) with Aerith, you will see a Yellow Materia orb glowing in a room on the first floor. Unfortunately, you will not be able to get it just yet. It will be blocked. That’s because players must continue with the quest first which will then unlock a way to get this Yellow Materia.
What to Do to Get the Yellow Materia?
Basically, you and Aerith must first escape the church and go back to town. Then you will get a quest to rescue children in the slums of Sector 5 and bring them to safety. Once you do this, some side quests will be available to you.
It is at this point that you can go back to the church. Use the map and follow the path to get to the train station and walk northwest through it. The doors of the church will be open and there will be no shadowy ghosts either. You can head inside and enter that room which you couldn’t enter before. Once you get your hands on the Yellow Materia, you will understand that it is a Chakra Materia. Chakra Materia lets you restore your HP and cures poison with Chakra, so it’s quite a valuable find!
How to Level Up Chakra Materia?
