With the addition to the Northern Expedition island in Fisch, multiple new elements have been added, such as new rods, the temperature mechanic, and a pickaxe! Since there are icy blocks that can be broken with it, you need to know where to find and get a Pickaxe. Here’s the location you need to go to.
Fisch Pickaxe Location
- To get to the pickaxe, hop onto your boat and sail towards the Northern Expedition location and enter the portal.
- Then move ahead toward the island, go to the left side, and walk over the icy sheets. Climb the ladders and follow their path until you reach the first camp.
- You will also see the oxygen and temperature bars here, so use the campfire to reheat yourself and buy the Beginner Oxygen tank to survive further ahead. You can refill it near one of the tents at the same location.
- Right next to the oxygen tank, near the orange tent will be the pickaxe kept on a wooden crate.
- Note that it costs 5000C$ so make sure you have enough cash with you. In case you don’t want to make this journey every time you spawn, you can set the spawn point to Overgrowth Caves by talking to the Innkeeper.
The Pickaxe can be used to break down the ice surrounding the Blue Energy Crystal for the Heavens Rod, and also to complete the levers puzzle to obtain the Ice Warpers rod. The developers might add more uses of this tool in future updates.
