Well, the best thing about this ability is the fact that you can unlock this by simply completing the main missions, as you progress in the game and are on mission 6. You will need to fight Salvador, the head of security.
Once you defeat Salvador, you will need to interact with the Object of Power that is located in the back of the room.
The Object of Power will teleport you to the Astral Plane and you will need to simply complete the challenge in order to unlock the ability of levitation.
