How to Get the Angler’s Lantern in Fisch

Published Date :

The Angler’s Lantern is an Exotic item in Fisch, essential for crafting the Glimmerfin Suit Tier 3 and the Submarine Deep Upgrade, which is required if you want to head to the Calm Zone. To get it, players must interact with the Anglers in the Abyssal Zenith area—the third layer of the Mariana’s Veil.

The process is unique compared to the normal bait you’d use for fishing because you need The Kraken or an Orca to feed the Anglers. You can do this at any time, weather and season.

  • Navigate to the Angler Pool situated within the Abyssal Zenith region. Make sure you have equipped Super Flippers and Advanced Diving Gear for better survival.
  • Approach one of the three Anglers with The Kraken or Orca equipped.
  • Feed the selected Angler by holding down the interaction button until the process completes.
  • After feeding, the Angler will fall asleep, dropping the lantern. Quickly collect it, as the other two Anglers may become aggressive.
  • To prevent attacks from the remaining Anglers, hold out another Kraken or Orca without feeding them. This action can pacify the other Anglers temporarily, allowing a relatively safe retrieval of the lantern.

To make this process easier, collaborate with other players. Each player can feed a different Angler simultaneously, ensuring all Anglers are pacified, making the collection of Angler’s Lantern in Fisch safer.

If an Angler consumes your bait and you fail to collect the lantern, note that Anglers respawn after approximately five minutes, providing another opportunity. If you’re attacked while collecting the lantern, continue holding the interaction button. Completing the progress bar before respawning can still grant you the lantern.
