How to Catch the Ancient Orca in Fisch
The Ancient Orca in Fisch can be caught from The Ocean with a Shark Head bait. Since it’s a Secret fish, you will see a grey exclamation icon pop up above your character’s head if you manage to hook it. It will be a challenging catch due to its -80% progress speed decrease and it also reduces your resilience. So make sure you are using a good fishing rod with high Resilience stats to counter it. A Heaven’s Rod may work best in this scenario, or if you have the Seraphic rod then it will work as well, despite being nerfed since its release.
When the Orca Migration event in Fisch begins, you will see an abundance of Orcas and a maximum of 5 can be caught during the abundance period. They will be moving in a line, so once you spot it, go towards the origin. You will see all 5 of them above the water You have a 0.5% (or less) chance of hooking an Ancient Orca. However, having server luck and the Aurora Totem can boost your chances quite a bit. As you’ll see in the video below, even with 8x Server Luck, the right fishing rod, bait, and use of the Aurora Totem, the Orca couldn’t be caught.
You will end up catching various other fish in the process so keep at it and you may eventually get the Secret Ancient Orca in Fisch. The migration event happens every hour so you can server hop until you find it and keep trying. Make sure you have stocked up on Quality Bait Crates to have a lot of Shark Head baits with you.
