How to Get Silver Ore in Once Human

Published Date :

One of the ores you will have to find in Once Human is Silver ore and finding it can be slightly tricky on the vast map. To save your time, this guide has the locations where you can find and farm Silver Ore for your crafting needs.

Where to Find Silver Ore in Once Human

The main regions where you can locate Silver Ore are the mountainous areas where it has a higher spawn rate. Aside from this, it can sometimes appear along main roads, rivers or on beaches. So, keep an eye out for the deposits while you’re exploring.

Silver ore is grey and looks like some other ores like the Tin Ore, so it can be challenging to spot it at night. To solve this issue, make sure you have the Curiosity Catcher III tool which will highlight ores in the area. First, unlock the Ore Detector III from the Infrastructure tab of Memetics and then craft the tool with 5x Steel Ingots, 2x Glass and 1x Rubber on the Advanced Supplies Workbench.

Silver Ore seems to also have a higher chance of appearing in Dayton Wetlands and Iron River. You can check out Aiden’s Hideout in Dayton Wetlands and check along the road near the river there as well. The best thing to do is note down the location where you found multiple nodes near each other because you can come back to it after they respawn.

Some players report success with “world switching.” This involves using a Teleportation Tower to change instances of the map. Each instance might have different resource spawns so try switching worlds and searching again.

Silver Ore is a rare resource like Gold Ore, so finding it might take some time and patience. Be aware of your surroundings while mining, especially in higher-level areas where you might encounter dangerous creatures and enemies.

What is Silver Ore Used for?

Silver Ore is a crafting material for creating high-quality items like stronger weapons, tools, armor and other gear. These will have increase durability and better efficiency, so for your survival on higher levels, Silver Ore will be absolutely required.

If you have the “Memetics” specialization unlocked, you can smelt Silver Ore into Silver Ingots. These ingots can be sold to vendors for a good amount of money, providing a helpful income source.
