The Outer Worlds is a massive game and it makes you go from planets and discover new things, you can basically get any weapon and adjust the stats as per your needs but one of the funnies weapons is the Shrink Ray Gun, as the name suggests you can literally minimize your opponents rendering them useless with it.
To get the Shrink Ray Gun you will have to first leave Terra 2, the first planet in the game. For that, you will need to play through the main story-line at Edgewater and get your ship up and running.
Once you do that, you will gain access to the galaxy map which will open up and you can decide where to go next. Read Captain Hawthorne logs in the captain’s quarters in that he mentions the Shrink Ray Gun.
You will then need to go to the cockpit once again and open up the galaxy map. Find Phineas’ Laboratory and go there, once there you will see a set of stairs, climb those up and get into the main lab area.
