How To Get Mario Items In ACNH – Unlock Super Mario Furniture & More

There’s something special that players get as part of the Mario update in Animal Crossing New Horizons and that’s Super Mario items. Yes, players can unlock Mario items in ACNH which also includes the teleportation warp pipes. Note that you have to update your game to version 1.8.0a – if you don’t have this exact version then you won’t be able to snag the Mario items.

How to Unlock Mario Items in ACNH (Animal Crossing New Horizons)

Players have to follow certain steps to get the Mario furniture as well as clothes in ACNH. If you don’t want to change your Switch’s settings, you simply have to wait until March 1st in your region to be able to get these items. But if you want them fast wherever you are, you can simply change your time zone to a region where it’s already March 1st. New Zealand is the one we will go for to get access to the Mario items early.

Steps to get Mario Items

  • Make sure that you have updated your game to Ver. 1.8.0a.
  • Change your Switch’s time zone to Auckland.
    • Head to System Settings in the Home menu.
    • Go to System.
    • Find Date and Time.
    • Press A.
    • Choose Time Zone.
    • Change it to Auckland which is UTC +13:00.
    • You can also look up other regions where it’s March 1st if you’d like.
  • The next step is to change date and time to be March 1 and beyond 5 am.
  • Do a fresh launch of the game and see if you have the right version. You will be able to see it on your game’s main screen.
  • Visit Nook Shopping using the Nook Stop Terminal in Resident Services. You can also use the NookPhone’s Nook Shopping app for this purpose.

  • Switch to Special Goods > Promotion tab.
  • This is where to find all Super Mario items in ACNH available for purchase. Their prices will be listed right next to the item name, as usual.
  • You can only do 5 orders in a day so you will have to come back later to get more Mario items in ACNH.
