There’s always a need for some extra luck in Fisch since we’re always on the grind for rare catches, and through the St. Patrick’s day event, we can get our hands on some Lucky Bait. It’s a mythical rarity bait that has good stats across the board and a chance to give the fish you’ve caught a mutation.
How to Get Lucky Bait in Fisch
To get the Lucky Bait, you need to do the St. Patrick’s Day event quest given by Clover McRich in Moosewood. It involves finding 5 limited fish, putting them in the pot, and then talking to this NPC. Once you deposit them, you essentially help Clover get his brothers back and so, he will reward you with multiple items. This includes a Clover Bobber, Lucky Savior title, the Shamrock Rod, and x30 Lucky Bait. The maximum amount of Lucky Bait obtainable is 30 so make sure to use it wisely.

When you catch a fish using the Lucky Bait, you have a 50% chance to apply the Blarney mutation. Due to this, the fish will get a cyan glow and upon selling, you will get a 4.5x price, making it highly valuable for making C$ fast.
Lucky Chests
The quest isn’t the only way to obtain Lucky Bait. Lucky Chests spawn near Sunken Chests and can have luck-based rewards such as the Lucky Pot Boat (45% chance), Lucky Collector Title (45%), 2x XP boost (10 minutes) with a 2% chance, 2x Luck Boost (10 minutes) with a 1.5% chance. Lastly, you have Lucky Bait with a 1.5% which can be obtainable after searching approximately 60 chests which is a lot.
Since only one player can obtain this chest (the first one who finds and opens it, wins the freebies), it’s best to get a private server to avoid going against others with faster boats.
