It is pretty hard to find so players are making it a point to get their hands on the Flare Gun in Fortnite. If you want to know how to get the Flare Gun, this guide will help you out. Additionally, you will find out all the benefits of this new weapon. Let’s begin.

Fortnite Flare Gun – Where To Find

Players can get a Flare Gun in Fortnite through chests, llamas or through supply drops but remember that it is very, very rare. There is almost a 4% chance of getting one through a standard chest while there’s a 9-10% chance of acquiring it from supply drops, llamas and rare chests. Since it is so rare, everyone will not be able to get their hands on it immediately. Patience is key.

Here are some more details about the Flare Gun. It has only six shots and can produce 60 damage when you hit directly. So, use it wisely.

Plus, it can set things on fire and the areas next to its direct hit aren’t safe. This can be quite beneficial to give some extra damage whenever you need it in the battle. You will notice that it is quite similar to the Firefly Jar that is available in Season 3 as well. With the Flare Gun, you can burn trees, wood, and basically anything that can catch fire.

Another point to note is that if there is an enemy near a flare that explodes, the opponent will get marked by the player who shot it. This will make for some interesting scenarios in the game and we can’t wait to see it.
