So, all you have to do is purchase a Nook Miles Ticket which costs 2000 Nook Miles and visit the Dodo Airport. Redeem your Nook Miles Ticket and choose the option to travel to another island. When you visit a Mystery island or go to a friend’s island who has a different native fruit, you will be able to bring it back to plant on your own island.

Do note that Mystery islands are randomly generated so it’s based on luck whether you find one with a foreign fruit you are looking for. Often, I have ended up visiting islands which had the same fruit as my island. But even then, you can pick up Coconut trees which might be present there. Plus, you can make the most of the bugs, fish and sea creatures that you might come across and catch them too.
How to Dig Up Fruit Trees in Animal Crossing New Horizons
Once you spot a Peach, Cherry, Pear, Orange or Apple Tree that you are looking for, shake the tree and eat the fruit. Then, whip out your shovel and pick up the entire tree. With that, head back to the plane and go to your island with your tree and plant it wherever you want. It will take a few days to turn to a fully grown tree, but this is how you can get those specific foreign fruits in ACNH without traveling elsewhere again.
