How to Fish in Brine Pool in Fisch

Published Date :

The Brine Pool in Fisch is one of the best fishing locations because of its great catches like the Spectral Serpent, Brine Phantom, Dweller Catfish, and more. However, getting to this location can be tricky and needs some pre-planning, especially since it requires a specific rod. Here’s what you need to do before you head down to the Brine Pool

How to Reach the Brine Pool in Fisch

To reach the Brine Pool, you need to get to Desolate Deep’s shop which can be accessed by turning right from the signboard. You can reach the signboard by diving down from the red buoy located at these GPS coordinates: -783.8,129.6,-3114.7.

Wear your Advanced Diving Gear (which can be purchased from the red buoy) and dive downwards into the Desolate Deep. It can get very dark so make sure you have equipped a lantern and increased the brightness of your monitor/screen.

You can also dive during the day to make things easier. Use the Sundial totem to change from night to day and speed up the process.

take a right from signboard

When you reach the signboard at the bottom, take a right and make sure to avoid the sea mines along the way. Soon, you will get to Desolate Pocket which is your first step towards reaching the Brine Pool in Fisch.

From the Merchant’s location, cross the water body, and from there, equip your Glider and navigate to the top of the wall by stepping on the rocks that lead upwards.

Enter the little cave and squeeze into the Desolate Brine Pool. The entrance is right in front of a one-way zipline back to the Merchant.

The water in the Brine Pool is acidic so make sure you don’t fall into it. You can set a spawn point via the Innkeeper (near the Merchant) in order to respawn at Desolate Deep in case your character dies.

Once you reach the Brine Pool, you’ll notice that normal rods don’t work here. This is where the preplanning comes into the picture — you require the Reinforced rod to fish in acidic waters and it can be purchased from the Merchant in the Desolate Deep region.
