Fisch: How to Get the Reinforced Rod (Location)

Published Date :

Reinforced Rod is a fishing rod added in the Desolate Dwelling update of Fisch and it can be quite tricky to get because it’s located in the Desolate Deep region. Here’s how you can find and get to this location from Moosewood and buy the Reinforced Rod.

How to Obtain the Reinforced Rod in Fisch

The Reinforced Rod is the only rod, at the time of writing, that can be used to fish in the Brine Pools. To enter this area, you need to have 23,900C$.

But if you’ve not been to the Desolate Deep yet, first look for a red buoy out in the Ocean. It should be located behind Sunstone Island (it’s a bit further ahead) — use the GPS coordinates -787 132 -3104 to get to it.

From here, you can choose to buy the Advanced Diving Gear that will help you stay underwater for much longer than the basic version. You should be able to see the underwater foliage from the surface, so go ahead and dive in.

Keep going towards the bottom, until you see a sign. You have two choices here — to go left or right. Go left and make sure you avoid coming in contact with the naval mines along the way. If it’s too dark, you can use a Lantern to see better.

Now, all you have to do is squeeze through the small cave formation and find your way up from a pond. This is where you will find the NPC who sells a Reinforced rod along with some more items like Flippers.

The Reinforced Rod has 25%, 0% Resilience, 0% Lure Speed and costs 20,000C$ to purchase. There are better rods in the game, however, if you want to fish in the Brine Pool, this is the only option at the moment.

If you’re already here, you can go get a Trident Rod in Fisch. But if not, the Brine Pool can be accessed from here as well. When you go through the right cave, you will come across the Desolate Pocket. Locate an NPC to buy a Glider (which costs 900C$) and make your way to the Brine Pool by following the directions in this video:
