Animal Crossing New Horizons has a mind-bending amount of bugs and fish available for catching. One such bug is the Walking Leaf and its name is very appropriate. Bug fanatics will already know this but if you are unaware, the Walking Leaf looks like a walking leaf! It imitates the look of a leaf, so much so that Blathers feels like these bugs are big phonies. He says with utter disgust that even leaf-eating insects get fooled by them. In this guide, we will take a look at everything you need to know about the Walking Leaf in ACNH and how to catch it.
Animal Crossing New Horizons Walking Leaf
The Walking Leaf can be found in the Northern hemisphere from July to September and in the Southern hemisphere from January to March. It can be caught at any time of the day so you don’t have any specific time restrictions.
Where to Find it?
You can find it right under trees. But there is a catch. You have to catch 20 or more bugs that day for this bug to spawn. So, you must start early because you only have time until 5 pm to get this green creature.
As soon you have completed your goal of catching 20 bugs, start looking for this master of camouflage. Note that you won’t see this bug directly, you have to look for a leaf that could be a piece of furniture but it is not. Blathers wasn’t wrong, this bug is a master mimic!
When you spot it, slowly walk towards it with a net and swing it at the right time to catch a Walking Leaf in ACNH. That’s it. By doing this, you will have successfully captured a Walking Leaf.
You can choose to donate it to Blathers or you can sell it for 600 Bells. There is another option to make more money from this bug and that’s from Flick. Want more information about him? Then, read about Flick and the Bug Off event.
