The Ripple in Time research task is divided into 8 different parts and each part has three tasks that Pokemon Go players will need to complete.

- Power up Pokemon 5 times will earn you 1000 XP
- Battle in a Gym 2 times will earn you 1000 XP
- Battle in a Raid will earn you 1000 XP

A Ripple in Time – Part 2
- Make 3 new friends will earn you 1500 XP
- Evolve an evolved Grass-type Pokemon will earn you 1500 XP
- Catch a Pokemon 3 days in a row will earn you 1500 XP
Rewards: 1 Sun Stone, 1500 stardust, 1 Premium Raid Pass
A Ripple in Time – Part 3
- Use a Sun Stone to evolve Gloom or Sunkern will earn you 2000 XP
- Reach Level 25 will earn you 2000 XP
- Hatch 9 eggs will earn you 2000 XP
Rewards: 1 King’s Rock, Eevee encounter, 1 Premium Raid Pass
A Ripple in Time – Part 4
- Evolve Eevee into Espeon during the day will earn you 2500 XP
- Walk 10km with Eevee as your buddy to earn candy will earn you 2500 XP
- Send 20 gifts to friends will earn you 2500 XP
Rewards: 1 Metal Coat, Eevee encounter, 2500 stardust
A Ripple in Time – Part 5
- Walk 10km with your Eevee as your buddy to earn candy will earn you 3000 XP
- Evolve Eevee into Umbreon at night will earn you 3000 XP
- Trade a Pokemon will earn you 3000 XP
Rewards: 1 Star Piece, 15 Pinap Berries, 1 Upgrade
A Ripple in Time – Part 6
- Visit PokeStops 7 days in a row will earn you 3500 XP
- Use 25 Pinap Berries while catching Pokemon earn you 3500 XP
- Use items to evolve Pokemon 2 times earn you 3500 XP
Rewards: 5 Silver Pinap Berries, 1 Dragon Scale, 3500 stardust
A Ripple in Time Part -7
- Catch 40 Grass or Psychic Type Pokemon will earn you 4000 XP
- Make an Excellent Curve Throw will earn you 4000 XP
- Earn a Gold Johto medal will earn you 4000 XP
Rewards: 10 Silver Pinap Berries, 1 Charge TM, Celebi Encounter
A Ripple in Time Part -8
- Catch Celebi
Stage rewards: 5,500 stardust, 1 Super incubator, 20 Celebi candy.
