They are easy to defeat, so kill them first. Next focus on targeting the head and body from a distance. The tail Great Izuchi’s tail swipe attack can throw you off the ground.
Focus on maintaining distance from this monster and attack the body and also try to aim at the head. At the start of the fight, you will be attacked by three monsters. First is the big one and the other two small ones will try to defend their master. The easiest thing about Great Izuchi is all his moves are predictable. It makes dodging simpler, and faster.
