BG3 Hhune Mausoleum Puzzle Solution

Updated Date :

In Act 3, players will stumble upon the Hhune Mausoleum (X: 1180 & Y: 888) at the Graveyard while exploring Baldur’s Gate 3 in the final act. The Mausoleum consists of a tomb, inside of which players will come across a secret note in the game. The tomb belongs to Hhune and once inspected the note reads “Kneel with the weight of all you value at his feet, and he will reveal himself”.

Even at this point in their campaign, some players may find it confusing and might also ignore it. However if you are looking to find some hidden loot, you should find out what it means. With that being said, here is a guide you should check out further to find out the answer.

How to Solve the Hhune Mausoleum Puzzle in Baldur’s Gate 3

To find out the meaning behind the text in the Hhune Mausoleum, players will first need to have a companion with high perception skills in Baldur’s Gate 3. Passing the check at the feet of the sarcophagus will reveal a pressure plate in the game. It seems like the note saying “Kneel With the Weight of All You Value, and he will reveal himself” may be of use here, and you are right. However, throwing all your inventory items or even placing objects on top of the plate won’t work in BG3. Many players have tried the same thing to open hidden doors.

Players’ best bet and one of the possible solutions would be to either stand/walk on the plate at the same time or to kneel at each corner of the plate using the Hide option with each of their companions. These methods have seemed to work for the Reddit users ArcanaXVIII and mynameisdamonx respectively. This might help you open the hidden door in the Hhune Mausoleum and loot it in Baldur’s Gate 3.

Another option stated by a user in the thread, is to drink Potion Of Hill Giant Strength and drag a heavy statue from another Mausoleum in the game. We will update this guide with a sure-shot solution soon so be sure to check it out again. For now, you can try out these methods and solve the “Kneel With the Weight of All You Value” puzzle in Baldur’s Gate 3.
