Harry Osborn is the only son of Oscorp Industry’s co-owner Norman Osborn and Emily Osborn. In Marvel’s Spiderman 2, Harry lost his mother at the age of 15 due to Oshtoran Syndrome. This illness is genetically passed on to Harry. Norman being a Scientist is doing his level best alongside Doctor Connors to find a cure for his son.
Harry, Peter, and MJ are all Best Friends since they were in high school. After falling sick, he immediately disappeared from his friend’s life as Norman didn’t want anyone to know about his son’s condition. So he took Harry to his secret lab and put him inside a liquid tank to keep him alive. In the meanwhile, Peter and MJ were unaware of Harry’s condition.
In Spiderman 2, Insomniac has shown that Norman has used the Venom Symbiote to cure Harry. Without the Symbiote, Harry won’t be able to survive and this is what the story revolves around majorly in the game.
Harry Osborn is shown as Venom’s host several times like in Ultimate Spiderman Animated Series. Aside from that, he appeared as Goblin in Sam Raimi’s Spiderman 3 and in Sony’s Amazing Spiderman 2.
