Pricing for GTA 6 remains officially unannounced at this time, but a new interview with Take-Two leadership has offered a slight idea of how the company is thinking about it. The latest comments suggest that there will be a premium price attached; however, it does push back against recent speculation that the game could launch at $100.
Take-Two CEO Addresses Thoughts about Ads and Pricing

In a recent interview highlighted by Screen Rant, Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick discussed how the company approaches pricing for major releases.
Zelnick did not confirm a specific price for GTA 6. But when he was asked whether Rockstar would include in-game ads to justify the price of the game, Zelnick said, “For free-to-play titles, yes. It’s very difficult for me to believe that we would want to have interstitial advertising in a game that someone paid 70 or 80 bucks for. It would seem unfair.”

In recent weeks, speculation around a $100 base price gained traction due to retailer listings and online leaks. However, it appears that the highly anticipated upcoming instalment of the Grand Theft Auto series could be anything around or slightly above $70. It is still expensive, but it puts the game’s potential price in the range of AAA games of the current generation. As of now, there’s no strong evidence supporting a $100 standard edition at launch.
