Amid years of anticipation for Grand Theft Auto 6, curiosity surrounding its soundtrack has started to build up as well. Rightly so, because the in-game radio is one of the most iconic parts of the franchise. While Rockstar Games has remained nearly silent about the full music lineup, recent posts and interviews from musicians have sent the gaming community into speculation mode – not just about what songs will appear, but how deeply real-world artists will be involved in the sound of GTA 6.

New Clues About the GTA 6 Soundtrack Are Emerging
Interest spiked after fans noticed comments and references on social platforms from musicians tied to the franchise’s past, hinting at their participation again. These mentions have acted as unofficial teasers, while we wait for an official track announcement from the devs.
As reported by RockstarIntel, modder Razed first noticed this, and a tweet by videotechuk_ gained momentum on Twitter/X. In this tweet, we see panamamusicofficial mention that “I’ve got a song called ‘Back to Life’ I wrote with #poolside, it will be on GTA 6.” While this comment has now been removed, players have flocked to the song, and as you’ll hear, it sure does have the aesthetic of Vice City.

A recent Spotify podcast appearance saw Neon Indian acknowledge that fresh work with Rockstar Games is currently happening. It would continue a partnership that already includes the GTA Online debut track “Change of Coast,” alongside “Polish Girl,” which players heard via Radio Mirror Park in GTA 5.
For gamers and music fans alike, these hints and leaks serve as early clues about what to expect when GTA 6 finally launches. We hope the soundtrack includes nostalgic classics, as well as contemporary hits, because, as we know, GTA’s music ecosystem will play a major role in its cultural appeal.
