Players can find the Brightbloom Seeds in any cave in the kingdom of Hyrule, like the one in the southern region of the Great Sky Island. Once in the cave, check the ceilings, walls, and floors for shiny plants. Head over to those plants and press A to take them. They will be added to your inventory and you can select it in throwing inventory.

How to use Brightbloom Seeds in ToTK

In Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, there are two ways you can use the Brightbloom seeds. The first way is simply throwing it. To do so, simply hold the R button, and then the UP button on D-Pad to open the throwing inventory. Now, select the Brightbloom Seed and throw it on the wall near the dark portion of the cave. The seed will bloom into a plant and illuminate the dark part once it hits the wall’s surface. Now, you can explore the cave further.

Another way to use the Brightbloom seed is to attach it to an arrow and launch it. Hold the ZR button to pull out the bow and open the throwing inventory by holding UP on the D-Pad. Select the seed and shoot the arrow to send it farther and illuminate that area. Make sure you collect every seed you lay your eyes upon. The caves feature some of the best loot in the game so you’ll need loads of seeds to brighten them up.
