Wondering which is the fastest way that lets you get to Mohg in Elden Ring? Don’t worry, you aren’t alone, several players are rushing to him. While he may be an optional boss for the base game, you can’t access the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC without defeating him. He along with Radahn are the main requirements to access the Land of Shadow. So no matter if it is your first playthrough, whether you have already beaten the game, or are doing some challenge like RL1, these are both the methods that give you access to his palace.
You can get to Mohg by either using his Bloodied Teleporter in the Consecrated Snowfield or via Varré’s questline. Do note that for the DLC you need to defeat Mohg, Lord of Blood, and not Mohg, the Omen. The latter is a variant of the same boss that you can find in the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds in Leyndell, Royal Capital. But let us not digress, here is how both methods will work.
This is the best method because you can use it quite early on especially if you are on a new game and haven’t progressed to other regions.
For players that don’t have Consecrated Snowfield unlocked you can get here after you have both halves of the Haligtree Secret Medallion. You can find its left half at Castle Sol by defeating Commander Niall. This is located on the Mountaintops of the Giants. As for its right half, go to the Village of the Albinaurics Site of Grace. Next, find and hit Albus, he is disguised as a pot. After having access to both pieces you can use Grand Lift of Rold and choose “Hoist secret medallion”.
That sums up both methods to get to Mohg in Elden Ring. In case you are having trouble fighting the Lord of Blood you can try using Seppuku on both weapons on two bleed weapons of your choice to deal him a lot of damage fast.
