In Sons of the Forest to find the 9mm Pistol you will have to go to the purple marker location, placed on the northwest direction of the island. This purple marker appears on your GPS Locator as soon as you initiate the first story quest, where you have to find the Team B members. Simply head near the location and you’ll spot an orange sheltered raft floating in the ocean. And the only way to get near the raft is to take a dive and swim. Once you are near it, look for a yellow ladder and press the prompt button i.e. E to climb. After that, simply grab the Pistol and the purple GPS Locator from the team B member’s corpse.
But before you dive in, make sure you save your game by building a shelter. And also ensure that you have some medicine on you and that your health & stamina bar is full.
