Although not a boss, Calip is quite difficult to get past in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. However, the problem lies with story progression as you need to complete certain main story quests in order to gain access to the Floating Ring Ruins in TOTK. If you have reached Kakariko Village, then you have surely tried to access the Floating Ring Ruins but failed due to Calip, the guard there who does not allow you to pass through. Even if you glide with your paraglider and reach the ruins from the sky, it won’t work out for you. So how do you get past Calip in TOTK? All you have to do has been explained right below so make sure you check it out till the end.

How to Get Past Calip in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
If you want to get past Calip, you will first have to complete the Regional Phenomena quest in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Once you complete this quest, you will have to investigate a sighting of Zelda at Hyrule Castle. This is bound to trigger a fight so make sure you are prepared. You will soon find out about the imposter Zelda. Head over to the Kakariko Village and speak with Paya and Tauro about this. She will then remove the restrictions and trigger the Find the Fifth Sage quest.
This quest will not only allow you to get into the Floating Ring Ruins but also get rid of Calip in TOTK. Going forward, Calip will now help you with completing the quest when you encounter him once again at the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower.
