Once you are put into prison by the guards, don’t panic. There are two ways to get out of prison in Baldur’s Gate 3

Interact with the Environment

If you are at Druid Grove prison, then break the makeshift walls around to escape. If you’re at Goblin camp jail, then you will need to find a concealed hatch and jump into the hole that will lead you out.

Lockpick the Door

You can also try lockpicking the entrance door to get out of prison in Baldur’s Gate 3. To lockpick the door, you will need to use a 15 Sleight of Hand check. Keep in mind that since most of your items will be missing, your chances of succeeding will be lesser. To better your chances, switch to a character that is not imprisoned.
