In Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, you get to change the Nature of your Pokemon by using Mints. For new players, Nature is a game feature that increases one stat of your pokemon while lowering the other. It can be any two stats other than your Pokemon’s HP. This mechanic can be very handy if used correctly, especially if you plan to play the game competitively. How to Get Nature Mints in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

You can buy nature mints from shop for 20,000 Pokedollars in this game after you get 6 gym badges. While any 6 badges work we recommend you get them in the order of the gyms that you should challenge first. Starting with Cortondo gym.

  1. Go to Montenevera town. You challenge the ghost gym here.
  2. Here, go to the Shop.
  3. Enter the shop and choose “I’d like to buy”.
  4. Next, scroll down and choose the Nature mint for your Pokemon.
  5. Finally, purchase the mint and use it on your Pokemon and it will change their nature.

  • Serious Mint: Makes all 5 stats grow at an equal pace.
  • Lonely Mint: Raises Attack but lowers Defense.

  • Brave Mint: Raises Attack but lowers Speed.
  • Bold Mint: Raises Defense but lowers Attack.
