You can get Islander’s Cowries by selling items to Enterprising Exporter. Islander’s Cowries is one of the two currencies you can get and use in Island Sanctuary. The second currency is Seafarer’s Cowries. Enterprising Exporter is an NPC that you can find in the cabin.
The main thing you need to do to start earning it is to make the cabin and reach rank 2.
- Go to the left vendor, they are Enterprising Exporter.
- Talk to them and select the option Sell Materials.
- This will bring up a popup that shows you all the items that you can sell from your isle inventory.
- Here select all the items that you wish to sell to Enterprising Exporter. Some of the materials from the island that you can sell to them are:
- Palm Leaf
- Branch
- Apple
- Islewort
- Log
- Sand
- Sap
- Vine
- Other than that you can also sell rare materials and produce.
- Confirm the items you are selling and based on the number you sell you will receive islander’s cowries in exchange.

How to Use Islander’s Cowries
You can use islander’s cowries to buy items from the Horrendous Hoarder.
- Go to the cabin and on your right, you should find Horrendous Hoarder.
- Select Purchase items with islander’s cowries.
- Here you can buy items from the Others section. These include stuff like
- Fieldcracker
- Glamour Dispeller
- Hi-Cordial
- Several different types of Materia
- Select the items you want to buy and confirm your purchase.
