How to Get the Sunforged Crystal in FFXIV
You can get the Sunforged Crystal in FFXIV by completing the Abyssos: The Eighth Circle on brutal difficulty. But there are two problems here. First, the raid hasn’t even started yet. That is right you won’t be getting your hands on this item anytime soon. The Abyssos: The Eighth Circle raid will start on 30th August 2022.
The other problem is you are not guaranteed to get it but only have a chance at it. So everyone, just like you, will be trying to get their hands on this crystal. And to make it even rarer you can’t get it by trade.
And this is not even counting that you have to take this challenge on brutal difficulty. Which as the name suggests will make it a tough challenge. So what you can do while you wait for the raid to unlock, is practice Pandemonium: Abyssos in normal mode. It will help you to train yourself a bit, and let you bring out your best gameplay during the actual raid.

How to Use Sunforged Crystal
As mentioned previously, You use the Sunforged Crystal to summon the Sunforged mount. It is a giant serpent-like creature, that is part snake and part bird. So even though it might be called a crystal, it is not something like Shards or Clusters that you can use for item synthesis.
But the good news is, once you get a Sunforged Crystal you can keep the Sunforged mount forever.
