COD Modern Warfare 2 features 51 different types of weapons that you can choose from. While several new weapons are introduced in the newest addition, several players are looking for the Intervention Sniper rifle. This iconic rifle features a lightning-fast scop ability. How to Get the Intervention in MW2
Currently, there’s no way for players to unlock and get the Intervention weapon in Modern Warfare 2. But that also doesn’t mean it won’t be available in the future. The Intervention Sniper rifle can be spotted in the Backpack section as you play the Spec Ops missions. Players have spotted its icon under the Loadout section of the Backpack. However, there’s no possible way to unlock this weapon.
While there is no Intervention in MW2 currently, its icon has sparked hopes in the hearts of the COD Community. Furthermore, it means that Infinity Ward is planning to release this sniper rifle. Similar to Hardcore or Tier 1 Playlist, Intervention could be available later in the game. Alternatively, it can also be accessible with the launch of Season 1. Lastly, it could also mean that it is a glitch.

In my opinion, as it was spotted in the Spec Ops missions, unlocking it won’t be related to Gunsmith. So, we suggest getting along with the Co-op missions with your friends or other players.
