How To Unlock & Get Guns In Dead Island 2

Wondering how to get guns for ranged attacks in Dead Island 2? Then check out below as we show you all the steps necessary. While meleeing through the game is fun, you will often feel the need to have a ranged weapon like a gun. Guns are powerful weapons in the game that you can unlock after the Justifiable Zombicide quest. Although you won’t be able to get them at the start, a few quests later, you will start having the option for different ranged weapons.

How to Unlock Guns in Dead Island 2

Dead Island 2 Get Guns

The first gun will unlock after you defeat Nikki Gutte, the Screaming boss in Justifiable Zombicide. Once you finish this boss fight, you will meet up with Sam B who will provide you with the Sporting Rifle, the first gun in the game. After that, you can find guns lying around in places in Dead Island 2. Now that you have faced your first screamer zombie, you can also go for the Curtis Safe Key.

How to Get Guns in Dead Island 2

After you unlock the Sporting Rifle, you would want to get more guns that are available in Dead Island 2. The best way to do so is to explore every regions and check out all items that drop from boss fights. As you explore more regions, you will be able to find many more guns in the game.

Keep a Watch for Ammo

While you can get more than one gun in the game, do remember that the ammo is in shortage. Hence, if you have an itchy trigger finger, you will need to keep it in check. Pick up as many ammo as you can find while exploring the different regions in Dead Island 2.
