Once you enter the Depths, you will come across the Gloom in Zelda: TOTK. While being similar to Malice, you lose Hearts or health if you come in contact with Gloom. How to Get Gloom Resistant Armor in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK)
You can get the Gloom Resistant Armor by buying it from the specific Poe’s Statues in Zelda: TOTK. But before buying any of the items of the Depths Armor set, you must unlock Poe’s statues and the currency. For that, you need to complete a side quest named “Call from the Depths” and pray to Poe’s statue. You can check out our guide on how to unlock the Depths armor for more insight.
Once you have unlocked Poe’s currency, find out the Poe’s statues to buy the Gloom Resistant Armor. As you cannot buy the entire Armor set from one statue, you must pray at three Poe’s statues to get this Gloom resistance set.
So, here are the exact map coordinates for every Poe Statues for the Gloom Resistant armor set in Tears of the Kingdom:
- Tunic of Depths (Plains Bargainer Statue)
- Map Coordinates: (0458, -0806, -0470)
- Price: 150 Poes

Furthermore, to the Depths Armor, there are other ways to get the Gloom resistance in Tears of the Kingdom. One of these includes the Dark Clump item which is the most effectively used in cooking. You can cook different recipes like Meat Skewer and Simmered Fruits for a certain duration of Gloom Resistance. But note that these recipes only offer Gloom Resistance temporarily.
How to Cure Gloom in Zelda: TOTK
You can cure the Gloom effect by using the Sundelions in your cooking recipes. As you use Sundelions with some veggies, it will cure the inflicted Gloom effect and restore your hearts. You can usually find the Sundelions across the Sky Islands in TOTK.
So, here are some recipes you can use with Sundelions:

In addition to that, you can also activate the Lightroots to cure Gloom in TOTK. While it will not replenish your lost hearts or health, you can cure the hearts inflicted by gloom.
