Apart from building your city and expanding your lands, you will also need to ensure that the villagers have enough resources to work with. That being said, food and fuel are two essential resources that are required to keep them alive. Consequently, learning how you can get fuel in Manor Lords, becomes extremely important, especially before the cold winters hit your village.

Furthermore, the use of fuel will double during the winter season, which can get tricky, especially if you don’t know how to obtain and maintain the supply of this resource. If you need help with this, here’s what you need to do.

How to Get Fuel in Manor Lords

Manor Lords How To Get Fuel

In order to obtain fuel in Manor Lords, players will have to create a Woodcutter’s Lodge. The option to build this will be in the Gathering section of the Construction menu. You can make this lodge using 1 Timber and you can assign up to three family workers. This lodge will help you obtain firewood, which is needed to get fuel in Manor Lords so that your villagers can survive.

We would recommend constructing this establishment near a forest so that there is a constant supply of trees. Additionally, you can also build a Forager’s Hut. This will help you plant more trees, which will indirectly boost the supply of wood.

Additionally, it is advised to assign only one family to work at the Woodcutter’s Lodge. However, before winter comes, it is necessary to collect as much fuel as you can, as a result, you can allocate more families to work at this establishment.

Charcoal is another great source of fuel in Manor Lords. To get this, you will need to build a Charcoal Kiln. However, you will only be able to construct this establishment, once you have unlocked it in your development tree. Furthermore, this Kiln will help you turn 1 firewood into 2 charcoal, which will help you increase the supply of fuel in your village.

Lastly, both, fuel and charcoal, will be collected and sold at the marketplace by the family that has been assigned to work at the Woodcutter’s Lodge and the Charcoal Kiln. To check the distribution of fuel to the burgage plots, click on the marketplace and hover over the ‘Fuel’ option.
