The best players in The Hunter COTW are often judged by one single achievement. The number of Diamonds they accumulate. Diamond Trophy in the game is determined by an animal’s antlers or horns. If these features are not present, then their total Trophy Rating is judged by their body weight. You get a Diamond medal when the Trophy Rating of the animal is 90% of its maximum Trophy Rating. This is why getting the medal is no easy task. To help you, we have put together a guide on how to get more Diamonds in The Hunter Call of the Wild.
How to Find Diamonds in The Hunter: Call of the Wild
Diamonds usually stay away from the herd and are considered loners. To find a Diamond potential animal, you just need to figure out its maximum Trophy Rating. You will get a Diamond trophy only if the Trophy Rating of the animal is 90% of its maximum TR in The Hunter Call of the Wild. Apart from that, you need to make sure that pass the Harvest check or else you will lose the Diamond.
Here are the requirements of a successful Harvest Check:
- Proper Ammo for this animal
- Animal is shot 2 times or less
- Intact Trophy Organs
- Hit 1 vital organ or more
Make sure you use the right ammo type for each animal. Against each ammo type, look for recommended classes before you hunt for a potential Diamond. Apart from that, always make sure to shoot the animal 2 times or less as it can downgrade your Trophy Rating. Also, make sure to not shoot at Trophy organs like Antlers or Horns. Lastly, make sure to hit at least 1 vital organ of the animal. This is one of the most common requirements and you shouldn’t have too much of a hassle.
That’s everything you can do to get a Diamond in The Hunter Call of the Wild. We hope this guide was helpful. If you have just started playing the game, then check out how to increase your level quickly, how to fast travel, and how to make money in our The Hunter COTW section.
