How to Unlock and Get Cryo Freeze in MW3 Zombies

- Crafting Cryo Freeze

- Consuming Perk-a-Cola flavor

Complete the Take-up Arms Mission
You can permanently unlock and get the Cryo Freeze in MW3 Zombies by completing the “Take up Arms” mission. This mission is Tier 1 Welcome to Operation Deadbolt. The objectives for this mission are as follows:
- Purchase a primary weapon from a Mystery Box.
- Kill 50 Zombies with a Mystery Box weapon.
Once you complete these tasks, you can head to the Acquisition Stash to equip this ammo mod.
Crafting Cryo Freeze
You can craft Cryo Freeze by collecting its Schematics across the map. For that, head over to the Aether Nests in Infested Strongholds to loot the schematics. You can find these blueprints from random chests and caches.
Note that the drops for these blueprints or schematics are based on RNG. This process can be a bit time-consuming.
Looting Aether Nest Caches
You can find this rare Elemental ammo mod scattered across different Aether caches located in the Infested Strongholds. However, neither of them are marked on the map. So, you need to find and enter specific buildings that have Gas Bellowing. But ensure that you equip a Gas Mask before entering them.
Similar to the schematics, the spawn for the ammo mod is also dropped randomly.
Consuming Perk-a-Cola Flavor
Lastly, you can consume the Perk-a-Cola flavor from the various Elemental Pop Stations to get this unique ammo mod. You must spend 2000 Points to get a random Elemental ammo when consumed. That said, your ammunition can also gain other random mod effects than Cryo Freeze.
How To Equip Cryo Freeze Ammo Mod
Once unlocked by crafting or completing the mission, you can equip this ammo mod by heading to the Acquisition stash. For that, follow the below steps:
- Head to the Gear section and press the Plus button on a Rucksack.
- Select the Acquisition Stash section.
- Then, equip the Cryo Freeze Ammo mod under Rewards.
