V Rising: How To Get Blood Crystals

Published Date :

Of the many resources, knowing how to get Blood Crystals in V Rising is important for better weapons. This isn’t something that you can get as drops by killing particular enemies or bosses. Neither is it a resource that you can craft with the help of other ingredients. Rather this is a resource that you have to look for and mine it. Additionally, even after you find the rights nodes you cannot use any weapons to extract it. So here is everything you should know about its spawn location, how to farm it, and its uses.

You have to look for large Blood Crystal nodes and farm them with any weapons that are made of Dark Silver or better material. They can be found at Dracula’s Demise. Make sure you have gears of level 60 and above before you head out to explore here. This is what you have to do:

  1. Go to the Dracula’s Demise. It is north of Dunley Farmlands and south of Gloomrot South.
  2. This is also the region where you find Lord Styx the Night Champion. He is a Level 83 V Blood Carrier.
  3. When you get here you can find high-level enemies like the Sanguinary Guards and Dark Temptresses excavating the Blood Crystals.
  4. Defeat them and you can get Bat Hide as a drop.
  5. Once all clear you can mine the Blood Crystals using your strongest weapons.

Do remember to level up accordingly so you can keep up with the enemies as this is the only area in the game where you can find Blood Crystals.

How to Use Blood Crystals

Blood Crystals can be used to obtain Onyx Tear. You will need an anvil to craft one. Its recipe is as follows:

  • Blood Crystals x120
  • Gold Ingot x4
  • Power Core x4

As for Onyx Tears, those are needed to forge Epic or Legendary weapons.

That is all for how you can get Blood Crystals in V Rising. Since you are interested in this game you should also check out how to get reinforced planks, charge depleted batteries, and use sawdust.
