With the introduction of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1, the battle royale is packed with new additional content and seasonal changes for players to experience. One such addition that players have found interesting amongst the updates is the Aura slot available in the locker. And since not much has been revealed about the item, many might wonder what exactly is its use and how can one get it in the game.
For players who are looking forward to even more cosmetics in Fortnite, these items will make things interesting for you. In this guide, we will explain to you everything from the actual use to how you can acquire them in Fortnite. With that being said, here is everything you need to know about them.
What is An Aura in Fortnite?
Aura in Fortnite are cosmetic items available for players to equip from the locker. Each item has different special effects in place that you will be able to use for your character. However, you will find them exclusive for the upcoming Fortnite Festival.
Players won’t be able to equip and use them in any other experiences in the battle royale. The Fortnite Festival is a new music game where players will be able to perform different music hits with their squad or even solo. It will be made available for players worldwide on December 9th.
How to Get An Aura in Fortnite
Unfortunately, at the time of writing, Aura has not yet been made available for players to get and equip. Since the items are exclusive to the upcoming Fortnite Festival, players will be able to unlock them once it has been launched on December 9th. To get an Aura, you might have to complete various objectives in the game mode itself considering these items are not available through the battle pass for now. With that being said, here is a list of some of the Aura items that you will be come across in the upcoming festival:
- On Fire
- Stellar Burst
- Rift Rock
- Pop Off
- Bouncing Bars
As mentioned before, each of these Aura items has different special effects in place. While there are only five available for this season, players can expect more in coming seasons or even at the launch of the Fortnite Festival. As mentioned before, these are exclusive to the festival and you won’t be able to equip them in any other battle royale experiences.
