Fuse Recycling In Zelda TOTK Explained

You unlock the Fuse Ability after completing the first few Shrines. After that, you will get the hang of it as you progress further. In the meanwhile, you will feel the need to unfuse a weapon with the attached item. Sadly, doing so will destroy the material thereafter. However, there are some weapons with Fuse Recycling Passive Ability that help you retain the material. Sounds intriguing right? That’s why, we are here to help you understand more about the Fuse Recycling Ability in Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK). Take a look below.

What does the Fuse Recycling Ability do in Zelda TOTK?

Bursting Materials like the Puffshrooms, Dazzlefruits, etc when attached to a Weapon with the Fuse Recycling Ability can be used again and again. Usually, when you attach a bursting material, it gets destroyed after a single strike. But thanks to the Fuse Recycling Ability, they can be used multiple times now in Tear of the Kingdom (TOTK). For now, the following are the 2 weapons with the Fuse Recycling Ability in Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK).

  • Forest Dweller’s Sword
  • Forest Dweller’s Spear

Fuse Recycling In Tears Of The Kingdom (TOTK)

Both of these weapons are obtained from completing Walton’s Treasure Hunt Side Quest. This quest is unlocked by interacting with Walton in Great Hyrule Forest. During this quest, climb on top of the Deku Tree to get both of these weapons with the Fuse Recycling Ability in Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK). The coordinates for Sword are (0414, 2173, 0242). Whereas, the coordinates for the Spear are (0502, 2196, 0229). Also, there are chances that you obtain them after defeating the Like Likes in the Great Hyrule Forest.

Once you have acquired any of it, Fuse a Bursting Material on the tip of the weapon. Next, find some enemies and strike them to see the magic of this passive ability.
