There can be several reasons to encounter this issue. We suggest updating Overwatch 2 to its latest version before going through any of the methods.
So, here are some methods to resolve the Career Profile stats not updating issue in OW 2:
Merge Accounts
- Launch Overwatch 2 on your PC or Console
- As you launch the game, you will be prompted with a Cross-Progression menu.
- You need to select the Continue option and scan the QR Code.
- Enter the credentials of your account and confirm it to merge your accounts.
- Now, wait for some time for your Stats to transfer. This process can be a bit time-consuming as the serves can be heavily populated.
Restart OW 2
This classic workaround works for most cases.
- Firstly, close Overwatch 2 and log out from the Battle.net account.
- Then, launch the game and log in with your Battle.net account.
- Check if your Career profile stats are updating or not.
- If it didn’t work out, you can also try restarting your PC or console.
While this method worked out for some players in the community, it took more than a couple of restarts for other players.
For the players looking to transfer their progress from Overwatch 1, it might take a bit longer time. That’s because currently, the player database is heavily populated. Although there is no word from Blizzard about this issue yet, we hope they resolve this issue with their upcoming patch.
