Fisch Fishing Rods Stats Explained
While some stats are self-explanatory, some need a bit more information to help you pick the right fishing rod for your current location, fish or server event.
What does Lure Speed Mean in Fisch?
Lure Speed determines how quickly you can reel in a fish after hooking it. A higher lure speed means you won’t have to spend a lot of time clicking on ‘shake’ because the fish will get hooked quickly. This way, you can catch more fish in a short amount of time.
What does Luck Mean?
As the name suggests, Luck affects your chances of catching rarer fish. If you’re looking for those prized catches, a rod with high luck will be useful. There are two types of Luck in the game — Universal and Preferred.
What is the Difference Between Preferred and Universal Luck?
Universal Luck is for all fish. For example, Weird Algae has 200 Universal LUck and -35 Lure Speed.
However, Preferred Luck is only applicable to those fish that are attracted to the bait. For instance, Fish Head has 150 Preferred Luck, 10 Lure Speed and -10 Resilience. So it’s an ideal bait to attract creatures like the Alligator, Brine Phantom and the Great White Shark if you use Fish Head.

What does Control Mean?
Control influences the size of the bar that appears when reeling in a fish. A larger bar gives you more wiggle room to keep the bar in the green zone and successfully catch the fish without losing it midway.
What does Resilience Mean in Fisch?
Resilience determines how well your rod can withstand the struggles of a fish. A higher resilience means your rod is less likely to break while fighting a tough catch. It reduces the movement of the fish icon, making for a much easier fishing experience.
What does Max KG Mean?
Max Kg is the maximum weight of a fish your rod can handle before snapping. Consider this stat if you’re going after those truly massive aquatic creatures!
Considering Stats while Choosing Fishing Rods in Fisch
Choosing the right rod depends on your fishing goals and how new you are to the game. If you prioritize catching rare fish, focus on luck but you’ll need to focus on the fishing game if the rod has lower resilience. If you want to reel them in quickly, prioritize lure speed. Consider control for a smoother fishing experience, and resilience for hefty fish.
Best Fishing Rod for New Players
The Training Rod is a good starter fishing rod due to its resilience (20%), Lure Speed (10%) but it has -70% Luck. If you have collected enough money to obtain an Enchant Relic from Merlin, you can visit the Keepers Altar in the Statue of Sovereignty to enchant the rod at night. This can give you a random boost, so hope for the best.
Another good fishing rod for beginners in Fisch is the Carbon Rod which has 25% Luck, 10% Resilience and -10% and can withstand fish of 600kg.
The best fishing rods for mid-game are Steady Rod (my personal favorite), Magnet rod to farm money and crates, and the Nocturnal rod to catch nocturnal fish at any time of the day helping you complete the bestiary faster.
In the late game, the best fishing rod totally depends on your requirements. Some players go for the Kings Rod, some prefer the Mythical or Trident Rod. Lastly, there are more powerful rods like the No-Life and Rod of the Depths that can be useful in the end-game section.
